Chirag Bakshi is a veteran of the mobile industry and Silicon Valley, and previously Vice President & General Manager of the VeriSign Mobile Messaging business.  Chirag joined VeriSign through their acquisition of Unimobile, where he was COO and a Founder. He helped the company build a world-class scalable and robust Wireless Platform driving significant revenue for Mobile Operators and Enterprises. Chirag also served as a General Manager at EFI where he established a very successful Network Graphics Server Business Unit , Director at Apple for their LaserWriter line of products and in Engineering at Rolm Corp developing distributed PBX switch software. Additionally, Chirag served on the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) Board and Wireless Internet Caucus (WIC) Leadership Council. He has his B-Tech degree from IIT Bombay, and M.S. degrees from Stanford and the University of Michigan. He holds several patents in software and mobile technologies. Chirag has assembled a team of mobile engineers and product professionals who have collectively launched some of North America’s most broadly deployed mobile technologies prior to joining forces at Zumigo.

Satya brings over 20 years of experience in architecture, engineering management and software development. Prior to joining Zumigo, Satya was the founding Engineer at CyberBills, where he architected a payment processor and bill pay online portal.  CyberBills went on to be acquired by FIS (formerly Metavante), where Satya designed the “One Engine” project that merged multiple payment processors into one.  Later Satya was the founding Engineer at FonTouch, where he architected a mobile transaction authentication gateway and built the Engineering Team.  Earlier in his career, he gained invaluable experience working on a number of strategic projects at SRI International (a joint venture with BBVA Spain), Wells Fargo, and Dharma Systems.  Satya holds Bachelor degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from Mangalore University in India.

Jong is a seasoned business development and sales executive with expertise in both application and infrastructure services in the internet and telecom industries. Jong’s most recent position was with BroadSoft driving revenue for their Unified Communication Cloud Services/(SaaS), where he launched the initial offerings to more than 10 service providers globally. Prior to BroadSoft, Jong was at Telcordia Technologies as Senior Vice President, Global Sales and Alliances in the Interconnection Solutions Division, where he led the sales team to deliver a suite of interconnection solutions as well as new service offerings for mobile and next-generation networks worldwide. Prior to Telcordia, Jong was at VeriSign where he had various roles from international business development to corporate business development. Prior to VeriSign, Jong was responsible for developing the Asia Pacific markets at Iridium. Jong holds a B.A. in Economics from Christopher Newport University.

Sutapa brings over twenty years of extensive international management and technical experience focussing on software product development and production engineering in high-tech industries. Before Zumigo, Sutapa worked at various technology startups such as Get-IT-Mobile and Registria as well as larger technology companies such as LinkedIn, Yahoo, Sun Microsystems, Reliance Telecom, RPG Satcom, and Tokyo Denki Tokki.  At Sun Microsystems, Yahoo! and LinkedIn, Sutapa managed large-scale production operations, site reliability, departmental budget analysis, and information system security & compliance. Sutapa holds an MS in Software Management from Carnegie Mellon University, a BS and MS in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur and a diploma in Software Technology from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.

Ziba leads the QA and Product Support team at Zumigo. She has 20+ years of experience in software development and engineering management. Prior to Zumigo, Ziba led engineering projects in P2P and A2P messaging for SAP’s messaging platform. Prior to working at SAP, she developed software and managed engineering teams at Sybase iSMS messaging service platform, a text messaging service that handled millions of SMS texts daily by providing intercommunication among wireless carriers. Before Sybase, she worked in various capacities in mobile computing and device management applications at startup companies including iAnywhere and AvantGo. Early in her career, she worked as a software engineer in simulation and electronic design automation at Cadence Design Systems. Ziba holds an M.S. and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, and has published several scientific papers in peer reviewed magazines.

Minoo heads up the Zumigo India business. She brings over 20 years of rich experience in marketing and sales. She has worked in multiple management roles across the top India telecommunication providers to develop, launch and manage a wide range of Value Added Services, Content, and New Products. She has extensive experience in leveraging strategic partnerships and business expertise to accelerate revenue growth for industry leaders such as Airtel, Idea Cellular Ltd, Tata Tele Services & GSMA. She has done her graduation in science and her MBA from Mumbai University with a proven track record in driving overall business and growth in competitive markets by championing new business lines.
