- We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build real-time AI-powered fraud and identity systems.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and build scalable backend services and API’s
- Develop systems that process identity, fraud, and telecom signals in real time
- Build distributed services supporting high-volume transactions
- Build backend services powering AI-driven fraud detection and identity intelligence
- Integrate machine learning models into real-time decisioning APIs
- Work with feature pipelines, behavioral signals, and risk scoring systems
- Support inference pipelines for fraud risk models and anomaly detection
- Collaborate with data scientists to productionize AI models
- Build systems that expose AI-generated trust and fraud signals to enterprise customers
- Improve platform reliability, performance, and observability
- Work with cloud-native infrastructure and large-scale datasets
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and data teams
- Participate in architecture decisions and technical roadmap planning
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices
Required Skills:
- 7+ years of backend software engineering experience
- Strong Java development experience
- Experience building REST APIs and distributed systems
- Experience with Play Framework and Akka or similar distributed processing frameworks
- Experience with AWS or cloud infrastructure
- Experience with databases such as MongoDB, Redis, or SQL
- Familiarity with integrating AI/ML models into production systems
- Understanding of model inference APIs, feature engineering, or scoring pipelines
- Experience working with high-volume behavioral or telemetry data
- Understanding of fraud analytics, anomaly detection, or risk scoring concepts
- Strong debugging and production troubleshooting skills
- Understanding of scalable system design and performance optimization
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes or clustered/containerized deployments
- Excellent communication skills with ability to interface with partners and customers
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
